My name is Zackery Clark. I was born in Charleston and I grew up in Alum Creek. I have two sisters and two brothers and I’m the second oldest. I went to Fort Washington High School, but soon decided that I would rather work.

In 2020, I got hired at Appalachian Botanical Co on the security crew. The pay is good and I enjoy the work and the other people. My advice is to show up on time and work hard, and you’ll have fun.

When one of the ABCo managers encouraged me to finish high school, I looked into it and found out that I could do it online and on my own schedule. It turned out that it wasn’t that bad, and I earned my diploma in 2021. I’m grateful for the encouragement and I’m glad I decided to do it. It was cool when one of my coworkers told me that he’s thinking he ought to finish his degree, too.

In my spare time, I like to race street bikes and work on my modified Mazda RX-8.
